NDOI appoints Lindsay Crawford as chief financial regulator
The Nebraska Department of Insurance (NDOI) has appointed Lindsay Crawford as chief financial regulator. Crawford will oversee the financial regulation team responsible for determining and monitoring the financial solvency of insurance companies licensed in Nebraska.
Crawford says: “When I started as a premium tax intern in 2008, I planned on a short three-month internship and never would have imagined becoming the chief financial regulator.
“The department has had a long-held reputation as a responsible regulator, and I am confident we will continue to approach important solvency issues with a consistent and balanced approach."
