Professional services and technology firm Davis has appointed Jonathan Habart to its US based captive management team as director of captive insurance accounting.
Based in Nashville, Habart will be responsible for overseeing accounting and compliance.
Habart joins Davis after serving as director of captive insurance at the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI). Prior to this he held various positions with the department, including assistant director of captive insurance and captive management specialist.
He has presented at several conferences on captive regulation and additional captive insurance topics, and is considered a leading expert in the captives field.
