Ryan Specialty has appointed Carlos Herrera as vice president of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team. Along with supporting the firm’s ongoing efforts to promote DEI, Herrera will continue to develop Ryan Specialty’s external relationships by building strong alliances within the insurance industry and the communities where Ryan Specialty does business.
Herrera brings 24 years of experience in talent acquisition and DEI. He joins Ryan Specialty from insurance firm Allstate where he was influential in implementing key DEI performance standards. He led the organisation’s employee resource groups, disability inclusion strategies and DEI recruitment and training.
