Zurich appoints Emma Sansom as global head of captives
Zurich Insurance has appointed Emma Sansom as global head of captives, effective 1 January 2023. Sansom has been with the company for 20 years and succeeds Paul Wöhrmann in the role.
Wöhrmann has been appointed to senior alternative risk transfer manager.
Sansom first joined Zurich Insurance in 2001 as an assistant underwriter.
During her tenure at Zurich, Sansom has held senior underwriting and market-facing roles, and has been leading the captives team in the UK since 2017.
