Global advisory, broking and solutions provider WTW has appointed Alain Dufraisse as managing director of its new Luxembourg Captive and Insurance Management Solutions (CIMS) office.
He will report to Elizabeth Carbanaro, WTW CIMS lead for Western Europe.
Dufraisse has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, with extensive experience in setting up, redomiciling and managing insurance and reinsurance companies.
24 years of his career were spent at Aon, where he served in a number of leadership roles including director of the Gibraltar division.
Commenting on his appointment, Dufraisse says: “What really struck me was [WTW’s] listening skills, focus on people, and dedication to their clients’ needs. I am delighted to be joining WTW and am determined to help grow its Luxembourg business significantly.”
Carbonaro adds: “Alain will add strength to the in-domicile leadership team in Luxembourg and his appointment reflects the importance we place on this major European jurisdiction.”
