Insurance broking and risk management firm Marsh Canada has appointed Riaz Juma as senior vice president.
With more than 15 years’ experience in risk management and insurance, Juma began his career at Aviva Canada.
Prior to serving at Marsh, Juma served at real estate investment trust company CAPREIT as senior director, insurance and risk management.
Before CAPREIT, Juma was vice president of risk and insurance at Riskcorp, a Brookfield asset management company.
He has also held other senior roles at Ontario Risk and Insurance Management Society, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Canada and Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak).
Juma is also an instructor at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
