RiverStone International, an acquirer and reinsurer of legacy and discontinued insurance business, has appointed David Rocke as group head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Rocke will continue his role as managing director of RiverStone Insurance Bermuda Limited, following the office’s establishment in February.
In addition, Jamie Saunders has been appointed as chief underwriting officer, reporting to Rocke and also based in Bermuda.
In this role, Saunders will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the group’s M&A and integration functions, and will work with Rocke on business development.
Rocke comments: “I am excited to be taking on this expanded role at RiverStone and to be working with Jamie again. We look forward to building on the foundations David Alexander laid and broadening RiverStone International's business globally in the coming years.”
David Alexander, previously acquisitions and business development director, has been named business planning and strategy director, where he will support RiverStone’s financial development with his experience in insurance restructuring, run-off management and business transformation.
