Allianz Global Corporate and Speciality (AGCS) has appointed Jody Yee as global industry solution director for technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), effective 1 January 2022.
AGCS notes that the appointment follows the launch of the global corporate insurance carrier’s financial services industry practice last year, with Paul Schiavone as global industry solution director. Both Schiavone and Yee report to global head of distribution, Jeremy Sharpe.
The global functions are part of AGCS’ transformation programme to provide bespoke product development, marketing and distribution for specific industries.
Yee previously held the position of managing director and global practice group leader for cyber and alternative risk transfer, where he specialised in alternative structured solution risk, global captive fronting, and captive programme management.
Commenting on the appointment, Henning Haagen, board member and chief regions and markets officer for AGCS’ business outside North America, says: “We are eager to develop a special value proposition for our key target sectors and the global industry solution directors are at the heart of it.
