Aon Reinsurance Solutions has appointed Tim Aman as executive managing director of the US actuarial team, based in the firm’s New York office.
In his new role, Aman will be responsible for consolidating the team’s commercial client relationships to deliver portfolio-level modelling capabilities to address emerging risks.
He will report to global chief actuary and head of casualty analytics, Brian Alvers.
Aman previously served as executive vice president of Ceded Re at Aspen Group, where he was responsible for leading the outwards reinsurance strategy. Before this, he held the position of chief risk officer.
Alvers comments: “Tim will be a valuable addition to our team in supporting and driving future growth, assisted by his wide-ranging industry relationships, many of which will be complementary to what we have now. We are excited to add someone of his calibre to the team as we help our clients navigate new forms of volatility.”
