Luigi Koch has joined Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) Switzerland as a local country representative.
In his new role, Koch will contribute to the execution and implementation of SRS' European business plan and direct engagement in business development efforts.
Koch will report to Derek Bridgeman, managing director, SRS, who joined the firm in May 2020.
He will also work with Georg Balint, Markus Beck and Maria Umana Sandoval to serve commercial insurance and captive clients.
Most recently, Koch served as partner and European life science leader at JLT Specialty, where he led the development and growth of JLT’s life science business across Europe.
He has more than 38 years of experience with large risk management clients, including roles at Zurich, Swiss Re, and Marsh.
In addition, Koch has been involved in many large risk financing transactions, including captives.
