Giovanni di Meo has started a new role as a regional director of Asia Pacific at Allianz Global Benefits, effective 13 January.
Di Meo joins Allianz from Generali Employee Benefits, where he served multiple roles in multiple countries within the firm over his nine years of employment most recently as global head of business development.
He has 10 years of international experience in corporate and retail insurance, both life and non-life, in Europe and Asia. He specialises in business development, customer acquisition, broker management, partnerships and digital transformation.
Cyril Samson, managing director and head of sales at Allianz Global Benefits, said: “We are very pleased that Giovanni di Meo has joined Allianz Global Benefits as the regional sales director Asia Pacific and are more than confident that he will be a valuable addition to our company, and our sales team in particular.”
