Rives & Associates has promoted Jacob Allen to the role of senior audit manager, covering several areas of tax and auditing, including for captive insurance companies.
Allen has been with the US accounting firm for more than six years and was previously an audit manager in its Raleigh, North Carolina office.
In his new role, Allen is responsible for the issuance and oversight of audits and other assurance services under his supervision.
He also brings experience working in public accounting for more than nine years, primarily in the not-for-profit, local government, charter schools, affordable housing and employee benefit plan industries.
Allen’s step up follows the promotion of T.J. Strickland, who took on the role of senior manager Rives & Associates’ insurance service group last week.
