JLT Re North America has named Tony Sammur as the new executive vice president in Stamford, Connecticut.
Sammur, who joins in June, will focus on the expansion and development of the company's regional team led by John DeMartini, executive vice president of JLT Re North America.
Before joining JLT Re, Sammur served as production underwriter at Gen Re.
DeMartini said: “Tony Sammur’s knowledge in both the regional practice and analytics area is the type of expertise that allows JLT Re to provide market leading and tailored reinsurance solutions to our clients.”
Commenting on his appointment, Sammur added: “I am looking forward to working with the team at JLT Re to support our clients for the long term. This is an exciting next step in my career with a business that clearly has a great future.”
