Tom de Swaan re-elected as Zurich board chair
Zurich shareholders have re-elected Tom de Swaan as chairman of the board of directors for a further one-year term.
During the annual general meeting, shareholders also elected Catherine Bessant to the board. All other members of the previous board of directors were also re-elected for another one-year term of office.
The board of directors now consists of Tom de Swaan as chair and Fred Kindle as vice-chair, plus other members Joan Amble, Catherine Bessant, Susan Bies, Dame Alison Carnwath, Christoph Franz, Jeffrey Hayman, Monica Mächler, Kishore Mahbubani and David Nish.
