ANV Underwriters has appointed Christina Lippert as underwriting manager, professional lines and commercial of Europe.
Lippert, who will be based in Barcelona, will be responsible for growing the professional lines portfolio across Europe and help to develop ANV underwriters financial lines book in Scandinavia.
She will report to Dennis Gattinger, underwriter director and financial lines of ANV International MGU.
Prior to her new role, Lippert has worked in professional lines for more than two decades and joins from Allianz Global Corporate & Speciality where she served as practice leader for the Scandinavia and CEE region.
Gattinger said: “We are pleased to welcome Lippert to our team. She brings a wealth of expertise that will help us to grow in Europe where we see significant opportunities in both the large corporate and SME spaces as well as in niche sectors.”
He added: “Lippert’s Scandinavian language skills and contacts in the Scandinavian market will also support our growth ambitions in that region and underlines our strategy to provide clients and brokers with local solutions in all major European languages.”
