Chubb Insurance Company of Europe has appointed David Barr to the role of European Environmental Manager.
Fred Shurbaji, Chubb European commercial manager, commented: “I am delighted we have been able to appoint someone of [Barr]’s calibre to this role. [Barr] will be responsible for growing our environmental business across Europe.”

Barr has over 20 years experience in environmental insurance and joined Chubb in April 2013 as the deputy European environmental manager. Prior to that he spent 10 years broking at Willis and Marsh and 13 years in various environmental consultancy roles.
