IMAC reveals agenda of Cayman Captive Forum 2024

The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has revealed the agenda for the Cayman Captive Forum 2024, which will take place from 3-5 December at the Grand Cayman Ritz-Carlton.

Registration is still open, offering attendees the chance to engage with industry experts and network at one of the largest captive insurance events in the world.

The agenda for the three-day event features a range of speakers and panels designed to address current and emerging challenges within the industry.

Highlights include opening remarks by chairperson Kieran Mehigan and a welcome from André Ebanks, Cayman Islands Deputy Premier and Minister for Financial Services and Commerce. The keynote address will be delivered by Anthony Robles, NCAA wrestling champion.

The insurance market update will feature industry leaders from Artex, Guy Carpenter, Marsh, Zurich, and Hyperion, along with a women in leadership panel showcasing speakers from Nassau Re, CIMA, Aon, GCM, and Arch Insurance.

Additionally, CIMA’s Kara Ebanks will provide a regulatory update, and cybersecurity expert Jon Engstrom will deliver a keynote on protecting organisations, with other sessions covering crisis responses and AI-driven risk management.

Workplace culture will also take centre stage, with discussions focused on creating healthy, inclusive, and high-performance environments.

Alanna Trundle, chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee, emphasises: “We are excited to bring the global industry together, alongside key government officials and top professionals, at the world’s largest gathering of captive owners and service providers.

“This forum offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge, best practices, and build professional connections in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.”
