The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has introduced its two keynote speakers Jess Kreisler and Juliette Kayyem.
The VCIA conference, which opened for registration this week, will take place from 7 August to 10 August at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Burlington, Vermont.
Kreisler, who is head of behavioural science at JP Morgan, will speak at the conference’s closing luncheon keynote. His talk "Motivate This: Behavioral Insight on Engagement, Incentives, and Motivation" will explain what forces impact productivity, satisfaction, motivation and relationships with and at work.
Kreisler is also an author and a former stand-up comedian, so attendees can expect some humour in this speech.
Kayyem, a Harvard professor and national security analyst at CNN, will address attendees at the conference’s Tuesday special event keynote. Kayyem’s talk "After the 'Boom': Building Resiliency in the Age of Mayhem '' will discuss her lessons learned from years spent managing the nation’s most pressing disasters, such as the BP oil spill and the H1N1 outbreak.
In her speech, Kayyem will deliver strategies that risk management professionals in all sectors can bring back to their organisations.
