The Western Region Captive Insurance Conference (WRCIC) has opened submissions for presentation proposals centred around captive insurance innovations, ‘hot topics’ and new trends.
The WRCIC planning committee has outlined particular areas of interest, including ESG investment, reinsurance pools, corporate governance and claims processing.
Accounting and tax considerations for moving into a captive are also listed, along with independent dispute resolution strategies and business plan advisory presentations.
To submit a proposal, entrants must provide a summary of their session’s content and a list of proposed panelists. Diversified captive insurance professionals are encouraged to apply.
Successful presentations will be held at the WRCIC’s 13th Annual Conference, taking place 12-14 June 2023 at The Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in St. Louis, Missouri.
The deadline for submissions is 1 April 2023, at 5:00pm PDT.
