The Alabama Captive Insurance Association (ACIA) is set to host its 2021 annual conference as an in-person event.
The conference will be held at The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in Point Clear in Alabama between 24 and 26 August.
In 2020, the ACIA hosted its annual conference in person on 16 to 18 September 2020 at The Westin Hotel & Resort in Alabama.
It was the first in-person conference for the captive sector since the start of the pandemic in March last year.
ACIA took several safety measures to ensure a safe conference for attendees last year, including masks and social distancing guidelines for meeting spaces.
Commenting on ACIA’s 2021 conference, Ryan Sanford, director of operations, explains: “I am most excited about this year’s conference because we have incorporated more networking opportunities for our attendees since so much contact was lost last year due to the pandemic.”
“We are also focusing on providing our guests with more dynamic session topics that showcase the innovative thoughts and ideas that ACIA values and works to produce every year,” Sanford adds.
