Korean Re Switzerland, Korean Re’s newly established European reinsurance subsidiary, has gone live with Eurobase Synergy2 platform.
Eurobase has finished the first phase for a fully integrated, complete, end-to-end insurance administration platform, configurable to Korean Re Switzerland’s business needs.
The go-live phase of Synergy2 was concluded within a nine-month timeframe.
Markus A Eugster, CEO of Korean Re Switzerland, said: “The implementation of Synergy2 and our engagement to date with Eurobase has been well received.”
He continued: “The Synergy2 platform has so far met our needs for an end-to-end platform, from submission, underwriting and acceptance through to accounting and reporting. We look forward to the continuous development of the Synergy2 platform and an ongoing and long-term relationship with Eurobase.”
Joe Locke, CEO of Eurobase Insurance Solutions, noted: “We are pleased to have implemented Synergy2 for Korean Re Switzerland and believe we have built the foundations needed for providing a long-term partnership.”
He added: “We are looking forward to Korean Re Switzerland realising further benefits as a result of our ongoing investment in our release-based platform, Synergy2 and maintaining an efficient, streamlined European operation.”
In July of last year, Klapton selected Eurobase platform synergy2 to support its end-to-end insurance and reinsurance operations.
