The Western Region Captive Insurance Conference (WRCIC) board has cancelled this year’s conference because of concerns around COVID-19.
The conference, which was due to take place on the 18-20 May 2020, will now take place next year on 10-12 May in Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The announcement from WRCIC said: “If you have already booked your hotel accommodations for May 2020, the hotel has already cancelled those registrations within our room block, so you do not need to do anything if you registered within the WRCIC block.”
It added: “Your 2020 WRCIC conference registration will automatically roll forward to the 2021 conference. If you need a different arrangement, please call us at 800-423-4134 and we will be happy to work with you.”
The board also noted that it will reach out to sponsors and exhibitors within the next few weeks on sponsorship investments.
This conference cancellation follows the likes of CICA, RIMS, the Vermont trade mission and SIIA alongside others.
