JLT Re expands binding authorities division

JLT Re has continued to develop and diversify its programmes and binding authority division in response to client requirements and demand with the addition of new appointments.

Mark Sleet has joined from Miller where he specialised in casualty business. Sleet has been appointed as a partner and will be focused on general casualty.

Lee Collins has joined from Oxford Insurance Brokers, where he served as director, and has been appointed as partner at JLT Re.

Neill Cotton, who joined JLT Re to lead the division late last year, commented: “When I joined JLT Re last year the division had a strong property focus and tended to specialise in a limited number of other product lines. We are now working to diversify and develop the team both from within and with a number of key hires.”

Commenting on the appointments, Keith Harrison, CEO for the UK and Europe at JLT Re, said: "These are all great hires and exemplify our drive to focus on clients by building JLT Re around knowledge and insight, creating a full service offering in our programmes and binding authorities division.”

“They bring a vast array of skills, experience and knowledge which will benefit both their division and the rest of JLT Re.”
