The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has opened the call for speaker submissions for the 2026 Cayman Captive Forum.
The event, which is the world’s largest captive insurance conference, is scheduled to take place from 1 to 3 December 2026 at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
Proposals for the 2026 programme are open until 15 May. IMAC indicates that it will review all submissions and aims to respond to applicants by the end of July.
Potential speakers are required to provide details regarding panel participants, a topic title and a description of the proposed session.
The forum is renowned for its educational content, featuring industry experts who address pressing topics and emerging trends within the captive insurance space. While the 2026 agenda is currently being finalised, the event will focus on emerging challenges and innovations in the field.
The Cayman Islands remains the second largest domicile for captives globally and holds the top position for healthcare captives. Since the passing of the Insurance Act in 1979, the jurisdiction has established itself as a major centre for international insurance business.
Registration for the 2026 Cayman Captive Forum is expected to open in June, with the full agenda scheduled for release this autumn.
