Dave Arick leaves IP after 20 years for Sedgwick

Dave Arick, assistant treasurer of global risk management at International Paper (IP), is leaving the company after almost 20 years.

Arick will depart at the end of the month to join Sedgwick in a newly-created role as managing director of global risk management.

Sedgwick is a global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions.

Arick is the 2024 Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) president, serving on the association’s board since January 2019 in positions of rising seniority.

Commenting via LinkedIn, Arick says: “I’m energised about the opportunity ahead, to lead the risk team for a growing and increasingly global company, but I am also sad to leave a company I have loved working for, and all the friends I’ve made and worked with for almost two decades.”
