London-based insurance broker Miller has appointed Chris Board to its reinsurance team.
Reporting to Charlie Simpson, head of Miller Bermuda, Board will initially be based in Bermuda with plans to join the London office in 2024.
Board brings more than 20 years of reinsurance experience to the role, with specialisms in both property and specialty lines.
He joins Miller from Conduit Re, where he was head of international property and short tail specialty. Prior to this, he held roles at Apollo Syndicate and MS Amlin.
Board's appointment is part of Miller’s strategic reinsurance build out and follows a number of hires this year across London, Bermuda and the Asia Pacific Region.
Simpson comments: “Chris’ deep knowledge of the market, longstanding relationships and extensive experience will contribute significantly to our future success.”
Board adds: “I look forward to utilising my experience to support Miller’s broadening range of clients as well as the firm’s wider growth plans.”
