Lockton New Zealand has promoted Craig Buckle to CEO, effective 1 January 2024.
He has been head of Lockton corporate risk business division since 2021, helping to establish Lockton’s New Zealand business in the role.
He will succeed Peter Lowe, the current CEO, who is to retire at the end of this year. Lowe has served as CEO since 2021 and led Lockton’s launch and growth in New Zealand.
Buckle has more than 30 years of experience in corporate risk insurance management and has previously held leadership roles at Marsh, Allianz and Willis Towers Watson New Zealand.
Commenting on his promotion, Buckle says: "I am thankful to Peter and the Lockton leadership team for their support and confidence in me.
