Alliant appoints Scott Myers as vice president for employee benefits in Florida

Alliant Insurance Services has appointed Scott Myers as vice president within its employee benefits group.

Based in Florida, Myers will be responsible for offering clients benefits solutions that will help them adapt to changes.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in both the retail consultant and carrier sides of the industry to the role.

Myers has previously helped employers with self-funded and alternative-funded medical plans, managing both claims spend and fixed costs. He also has knowledge of the medical stop-loss markets.

Prior to joining Alliant, Myers was a benefits consultant at One Digital for two years.

Kevin Overbey, president at Alliant Employee Benefits, comments: “Scott joins Alliant with a tremendous amount of experience in the business and has worked with a wide range of clients to craft the right benefits solutions.”

He adds: “As we grow our presence in the region, Scott can help us reach more customers and provide broader services.”
