Skyward Specialty Insurance Group (Skyward) has appointed Robert Nizzi to lead its captive division.
Nizzi, who will also be Skyward’s senior vice president, has more than 30 years’ experience in the captive industry.
He was most recently senior vice president of sales at US-based Innovative Captives Strategies. Before that, he was president of financial planner Enterprise Risk Strategies.
Commenting on his new role, Nizzi says: “It is clear that Skyward Specialty is committed to building a market-leading captives capability. The company has demonstrated innovation and creativity, and its ability to attract talent is attractive to captive managers and participants. I am excited to get started and to build a one-of-a-kind captives facility at Skyward Specialty.”
