Aon has internally promoted Steven Britton (pictured) and Mike Pickard to global roles in their global Insurance linked securities (ILS) management team.
Based in Bermuda, Britton will lead commercial (re)insurance and ILS business segments.
He previously served as managing director of global ILS management at Aon, and worked at Aon Capital Markets in London. Prior to joining the company, Britton spent five years with Horseshoe Group.
Mike Pickard, based in Guernsey, has been appointed director of ILS and commercial.
Reporting to Britton, he will be responsible for driving the growth in these sectors in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Preceding this role, Pickard served as associate director for Aon, with a focus on the business development of its Guernsey office. Before joining the company, he worked at insurance broker and risk advisor firm, Marsh.
