MAXIS GBN works with Further to deliver equitable health benefits to multinationals

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN), is partnering with health insurance consultancy Further Group (Further) to provide their multinational clients coverage for accessible medical treatment outside of their home countries.

MAXIS GBN is a MetLife and AXA international employee benefits joint venture.

Further will be offering its Critical Advantage solution to MAXIS GBN’s multinational clients, which gives them the ability to offer their employees treatment, at any medical centre outside of their home country for critical conditions which range from cancer treatment to tissue transplants.

The solution is available globally, with treatment, travel and accommodation covered. Further organises all bookings and arrangements, meaning employees can focus on their health and recovery.

As part of the partnership, employers benefit from centralised reporting, administration and management from the team at Further. All Further policies can be 100 per cent reinsured and are also eligible for inclusion in MAXIS GBN global programmes.

Further is the seventh supplier to join MAXIS GBN’s wellness technology marketplace, which offers multinationals a suite of digital-led health and wellness services from carefully selected providers.

Commenting on the partnership, Damien Payne, director of corporate solutions at Further, says: “Our focus is on health equity and ensuring that regardless of an employee’s location, when faced with a serious illness they should be able to access the best treatment available in a timely manner.

“We’re excited to be working with MAXIS GBN, helping their multinational clients to provide equitable health benefits to their employees.”

Dr Leena Johns, chief health and wellness officer at MAXIS GBN, adds: “Working with Further is a great opportunity for employers to not only provide their people with the best treatment to help them recover from a serious illness, but also to ensure they are offering uniform, equal access to care.”
