MAXIS GBN bolsters Americas business development leadership

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has enhanced its business development team in the Americas with several promotions focused on improving client service and delivering sustainable growth.

Effective 1 April, the promotions follow continued strong growth in the Americas region from multinationals exploring and implementing global employee benefits programmes.

Larry Howley, Julie Nye and Lauren Kelly have all been promoted to regional managers and will be part of the business development leadership team alongside Erica Sebastianutti, who serves as regional manager for the South and Midwest regions.

Howley has more than 10 years’ experience in global employee benefits, having held a variety of roles across financial management, global underwriting and business development. As regional manager, he will be responsible for the Northeast region alongside Nye.

In addition, Nye will also oversee the West and Latin America regions. She most recently served as the Americas lead for MAXIS GBN’s underwriting team.

Kelly will be responsible for the Midwest and Canada, with seven years’ experience working with multinational clients to implement global employee benefits programmes.

These promotions follow the appointment of Paul Lewis as global head of business development in November last year.

Commenting on the appointments Lewis says: “We are delighted to be announcing these promotions as we focus on further, long-term sustainable growth in the Americas region, our largest market in terms of client scope, sophistication and premium written.

“Lauren, Larry, Julie and Erica each have extensive, broad experience in the sector as well as the calibre and expertise that will allow MAXIS GBN to build on its market share and momentum.”

CEO Mattieu Rouot adds: “Our Americas team is going from strength to strength under Paul’s leadership. They have done an exceptional job, working with some of the largest and most sophisticated multinational companies in the US, Latin America and Canada. With these developments in the business development team, we are very confident that we will see even more positive results, with a strong focus on the client experience and employee outcomes.”
