Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Mina Matin as co-head of the law firm’s US insurance international business group, based in New York.
She will serve alongside fellow co-head Neel Lane, who is based in San Antonio.
Matin is experienced in practicing in insurance and reinsurance disputes, as well as Bermuda Form arbitrations, where she has represented various international insurers, reinsurers and captive insurance companies in various pharmaceutical class actions, workers’ compensations matters, product liability class actions, and others.
Business classes of expertise include general liability, professional liability, environmental, property, directors and officers liability, and reinsurance.
In addition, Matin is experienced in assisting clients on matters involving corporate insurance and reinsurance issues, and advising insurers on upcoming policies concerning fintech products, having worked with the government of Bermuda to promote the fintech industry and provide knowledge in establishing frameworks.
Matin previously served as senior counsel for insurance and reinsurance at Chadbourne and Parke, before which she was senior associate for insurance and reinsurance at Sedgwick.
