TigerRisk Partners has appointed Tim Edwards as catastrophe analytics lead for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective October 2021.
Edwards will be part of the risk, capital and strategic advisory firm’s international reinsurance property and casualty (P&C) team, based in London.
The appointment is part of TigerRisk’s growth strategy for its international P&C reinsurance team, which is responsible for servicing the specialist broking requirements of leading insurers and reinsurers in Europe and other international markets.
He currently serves as senior manager, portfolio risk management at Lloyd’s of London, and has previously held roles in global catastrophe analytics at Willis Re, Guy Carpenter and RMS.
James Few, CEO of TigerRisk International, comments: “We are thrilled to have hired Tim, who has vast experience at Lloyd’s and international markets in the use of modelling to help clients structure and optimise complex reinsurance portfolios.”
“The appointment of Tim further strengthens the depth of service we can offer for major insurance companies in London and Europe which require sophisticated broking advice and value-added capabilities.”
