Arch Reinsurance has appointed Vanessa Hardy Pickering as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 1 September.
She will report to CEO of speciality property and casualty reinsurer Arch Re, Jerome Halgan.
As an experienced reinsurance executive, Hardy Pickering previously held senior financial positions at Ariel Re and Rosemont Reinsurance, most recently serving as CFO of Hamilton Re and group treasurer for Hamilton Insurance Group.
