Everest Re has appointed Ari Moskowitz and Peter Bell to senior leadership roles in the group’s reinsurance division.
The company provides property, casualty and speciality products, including customised professional liability insurance, such as captives and risk purchasing groups.
Moskowitz has assumed the newly-created role of senior vice president and chief operations officer, having joined the insurance and reinsurance provider in 2018 as deputy chief pricing actuary.
In his new role, Moskowitz will be responsible for claims, overseeing reinsurance actuarial pricing, driving operations and leading strategic initiatives.
Bell joined Everest Re in 2003 and most recently held the position of deputy managing director of Bermuda, which has been expanded into senior vice president, CEO and managing director of all Bermuda operations.
Both will report to Jim Williamson, group chief operating officer and head of reinsurance.
Williamson comments: “I am delighted to have two talented reinsurance executives taking on expanded roles at Everest. Both Ari Moskowitz and Peter Bell have proven track records of excellence, and I look forward to their continued leadership and critical contributions to our business.”
