Miller has hired James Power as its new exposure analytics lead, to strengthen the firm’s exposure analytics and deal structuring offering for reinsurance clients.
Reporting to Mark Zammit, head of analytics, Power will work with reinsurance colleagues across Miller’s London and Bermuda offices.
Power has worked in the London market for over 10 years, most recently with Apollo Syndicate Management.
His appointment is Miller’s latest investment in the reinsurance space, and follows the recent announcement that Miller will be expanding its reinsurance presence through the opening of a new Bermuda office.

Recently, Miller appointed Charlie Simpson to head up its new Bermuda platform.
In his new role, Simpson will focus on growing Miller’s presence in Bermuda by launching an independent offering, which will initially focus on reinsurance and insurance-linked securities.
