Five Colleges names Ruth Rauluk as new director of risk management

Ruth Rauluk has been appointed as director of risk management for the Five College Consortium.

Formerly, Rauluk served as associate vice president of risk management at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

Rauluk will manage the insurance and risk management programmes of Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges, as well as for Five Colleges, Incorporated.

She will also manage the captive insurance programme that the four campuses and consortium own, and develop and implement enterprise risk management programmes for each institution.

Rauluk replaces Stacie Kroll, who worked in the position since 2016.

Five Colleges executive director, Sarah Pfatteicher said: “Ruth Rauluk will bring strong experience in the three core areas of the position — insurance, risk management, and enterprise risk management.”

“I’m looking forward to her valuable contributions as a member of our team,” she added.
