Parag Bavishi has joined USQ Risk’s managing general agent (MGA) and programmes team as chief underwriting officer of innovative alternative risk transfer, based in New York.
Bavishi's extensive background in structured reinsurance products within the property and casualty sector will enhance USQ Risk’s ability to deliver innovative solutions to clients while helping to expand in other areas.
USQ Risk said his client and broker relationships, as well as his proven track record of delivering results, make him an ideal fit for the role.
Bavishi comes to USQRisk from Allianz, where he spent over seven years working.
Most recently he served as managing director of alternative risk transfer at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS).
He also worked for Northbridge Insurance as director, actuarial and he spent over 10 years with Zurich, serving different roles including assistant vice-president, structured life product development for Zurich North America.
