Society of Risk Management Consultants elects Christopher Moss as president

The Society of Risk Management Consultants (SRMC) has elected Christopher Moss as president.

Moss currently works as president of Compass Risk Services, located in Texas.

SRMC also elected Roy Ivins, president of RMI Associates, as president-elect. Ivins has served two-years as the society’s treasurer.

Lori Ussery, actuarial consultant of SIGMA Actuarial Consulting Group, based in Tennessee was named as treasurer.

Joe Underwood, principal of Albert Risk Management Consultants, based in Massachusetts, will continue to serve on the board in the role of immediate past president.

Peter Murdough, a consultant at Blades, Crout & Proulx, in New Jersey will continue as secretary.

SRMC is governed by a board of directors, with each director being elected to a two-year term.

Jaclyn Davies of Insurance Buyers’ Council in Maryland, Mark Di Nola, ARM president of RyeRisk Consulting in New Hampshire, Michelle Bradley, consulting actuary of SIGMA Actuarial Consulting Group in Tennessee, and Thomas Rosaschi, senior consultant at ICA Risk Management Consultants in New Jersey were all elected to the board of directors.

Other members continuing to serve on the board include Arthur Proulx, president of Blades, Crout & Proulx in New Jersey, Ben Few, consultant of Ben Few & Company in Florida, David Stegall, principal consultant at Risk Consulting & Expert Services in Alabama, and Todd Thomas, chief consultant at Sigma Risk Management Consulting in Louisiana.

The society also awarded three-lifetime memberships to Thomas Krzys in Maryland, Robert Ford in California and Charles Cox in Arizona as long-term members.
