Cook Islands to reveal five-year strategic plan

Cook Islands Finance is set to release its five-year strategic plan to move its financial services industry forward.

Strategies will include using modern digital marketing solutions for taking its offering to the world, which is even more relevant now given the uncertainties around international travel.

Although the Cook Islands closed its borders due to COVID-19, the financial services industry continues to operate unaffected and remains open for business.

The Cook Islands captive market was established in 2013 under the Captive Insurance Act of 2013 and as of 2019, they have a total of five captives domiciled on the islands.
