Maxis Global Benefits Network (GBN) has appointed Damian Allepuz Lemmens to the role of regional manager of Western Europe.
Reporting to David Schupack, regional director of Western Europe, Middle East and Africa, Lemmens will lead a team of four employee benefits experts in Paris that work with the firm’s strategic partners to develop employee benefits solutions for Western Europe-based multinational companies.
With more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, Lemmens has held a number of senior sales and marketing roles at companies including AIG Life Companies and BNP Paribas Cardif, the captive insurance company of BNP Paribas.
Commenting on Lemmens appointment, Schupak said: “We’re delighted to have someone of Damian Allepuz Lemmens’ experience and calibre join MAXIS to lead our Western Europe team. There are significant opportunities for growth in this market and with Lemmens leading our expert team, I’m confident we’ll be able to take real advantage of this.”
In August last year, the firm announced the appointment of Aaron Brown to the new role of regional manager for the UK and Ireland, also reporting into Schupak. In March, Maxis appointed Ricardo Almeida to the role of head of business development.
