David Guerino swaps WTW for Keystate

KeyState Companies has appointed David Guerino as senior vice president and managing director of captive insurance ', 'KeyState Companies has appointed David Guerino as senior vice president and managing director of captive insurance. In his new role, Guerino will be responsible for oversight of US team members within the firm’s US captive operations as well as responsibility for managing captives in all US domiciles. Currently, KeyState is managing captive programmes in Nevada, Delaware, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Montana. Guerino has experience in managing captives in domiciles including Vermont, South Carolina, Ohio, Connecticut, Arizona, New York, Tennessee, Washington, DC, Michigan, Missouri and Delaware as well as Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Barbados. His industry experience has focused on working with multinational companies, large real estates, healthcare, financial institutions, construction companies, PEO 's as well as niche companies. Most recently, he worked at Willis Towers Watson global captive practice as senior vice president. Josh Miller, CEO of The KeyState Companies, said: “We are very excited to have David Guerino join KeyState to lead and grow our captive management business. Guerino’s expertise will add tremendous value to our customers, and his proven leadership will be invaluable as we expand.” He added: “With this strong team in place in Vermont, KeyState is very pleased to announce that it will establish an office in Burlington, Vermont in early 2020. Vermont is the preeminent US captive domicile, and KeyState looks forward to growing our Burlington office to service Vermont captives and expanding our captive management services into additional domiciles.” Over the past 18 months, KeyState also hired Jeff Vigne as director of insurance services and Alicia Huskes as manager of captive client services.
