Andrew Halls departs Marsh

Andrew Halls has departed his role as vice president, underwriting and claims at Marsh.

Halls was responsible for underwriting property and casualty, trade credit, cyber, directors and officers and employee benefits for fortune 500 captives.

He also advised on strategic captive development.

Halls joined JLT Insurance Management in December 2014 as senior underwriter, progressing to deputy manager, before leading the underwriting and claims department.

JLT was acquired by Marsh in April as part of Marsh’s strategy to become the preeminent global firm in the areas of risk, strategy and people.

Halls has also worked at Aspen Risk Management and Sterling Insurance.

Marsh declined to comment on Halls departure.
