Julie Mix McPeak, Mary Frances Miller and William Williams are being placed into the Robert Musto Tennessee Insurance Hall of Fame at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
Former commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, McPeak now works with Greenberg Traurig focusing on insurance law and insurance regulation issues.
McPeak, who has more than 25 years of legal and administrative experience in state government, has also previously served as the president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
Miller is a founder and senior consulting actuary at Select Actuarial Services in Nashville. She currently serves on the board of the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association.
She has also served as president of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries and served on the board of directors of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
Williams has worked as president and CEO of the Plateau Group in Crossville and its two insurance subsidiaries, Plateau Insurance and Plateau Casualty Insurance since 1990.
His entire career has been working in banking and/or insurance.

We are especially glad to add an actuary and a regulator to the Insurance Hall of Fame, reflecting the broad spectrum of opportunities this industry encompasses.”
