PIAA names Richard Anderson as chair
The Physician Insurers Association of America (PIAA) has appointed The Doctors Company chairman and CEO Richard Anderson as chair of its board of directors.
The appointment was made during the PIAA Medical Liability Conference in Washington DC on 13 May.
The previous chair Gloria Everett, president and CEO of The Mutual RRG, said: “I’m happy to be passing the reins over to Anderson. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position, and the association will be in good hands under his watch.”
