Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Ivan Gonzalez as CEO of North America.
Gonzalez will move from his current position, CEO Latin America, and assume his new role on 1 July, relocating from São Paulo to New York.
In the role change, Gonzalez will succeed Bob Petrilli, who has decided to leave the company at the end of the year.
Gonzalez will assist with the implementation the company’s expansion strategy in the US and Canadian markets.
Rudolf Flunger, chief marketing officer at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, said: “Gonzalez has unique expertise in insurance, strategy and corporate finance, ideal for leading us into the next phase of our development in North America.”
He added: “On behalf of my fellow executives, I thank Petrilli for successfully building our North America organisation during the past decade.”
