Marsh IAS welcomes duo to Bermuda office

Marsh IAS has appointed Jill Husbands as chairman of its Bermuda business and Lawrence Bird as head of its office in the domicile.

In her new role as chairman, Husbands will focus on strategic growth initiatives and key client relationships. She will continue as the country corporate officer of all Marsh & McLennan companies in Bermuda.

Bird will lead the delivery of Marsh’s client value proposition, and focus on driving growth in our current and future platform in Bermuda.

Previously, Bird served as client leader in the Bermuda office and was responsible for the client service teams.

Chris Lay, president of Marsh Captive Solutions, commented: “Husbands and Bird both are long-standing leaders at Marsh IAS and influencers in our industry.”

“We are delighted to announce these appointments, which are reflective of Husbands and Bird’s accomplishments. These appointments will further reinforce our position as leaders in Bermuda and position us well for future growth and development.”
