Beazley has appointed Elizabeth Benet to drive the new business and product development of the specialty treaty team’s partner solutions focus group.
Benet will be based in Beazley’s Farmington, Connecticut office and report to Joanne McCann, Beazley’s specialty treaty focus group leader.
Prior to her new role, Benet worked at General Re where she most recently served as senior vice president and North American underwriting manager for treaty reinsurance and specialty lines.
Beazley’s specialty treaty team partners with insurance carriers to provide them with turnkey insurance products including employment practices liability and data breach, to enhance their product offerings for policyholders.
McCann said: “Beazley works collaboratively with clients to help fill the gaps in their product offerings to ensure they are catering to their policyholders needs and exposures. Benet’s extensive and successful history in this area is a major addition to our team as we continue to grow this offering.”
