Charles Higham has joined Everest Specialty Underwriters, a division of Everest Insurance, as vice president and leader of the financial institutions group.
Higham joined Everest Insurance from Zurich North America, where he led the financial institutions group.
He began his career at Gulf Insurance Group and has held several underwriting and management positions in the international and financial institution departments at both The Hartford and Arch Insurance Group.
In his new role, Higham is responsible for leading the management and professional liability lines of business for all types of financial institutions as part of the broader growth initiatives at Everest Insurance.
